This shy honeyeater was the main reason Birds Australia set out to protect Gluepot more than a decade ago.
Witchelina Reserve
Helping to build a wildlife corridor from Lake Torrens to the Northern Territory border, giving native species room to adapt in the face of a changing climate, fire and drought. Witchelina helps build the world's first transcontinental habitat corridor, from Port Augusta to Arnhem Land, the Trans-Australia Eco-Link.
Coorong National Park
When a quarter of South Australia's Hindmarsh Island was bought for conservation, it sparked some unusual environmental partnerships that now protect habitat far beyond the reserve's borders.
