About the fact sheet
Booderee National Park is working to reduce the Bitou Bush population in the park through a reduction and monitoring program. The Bitou Bush out competes native vegetation for sun, water and nutrients, and forms an impenetrable growth under which little else can grow.
Booderee National Park and Booderee Botanic Gardens has a number of projects and management programs to help protect our native wildlife and habitats for future generations.
