About the Plan
Booderee National Park and Booderee Botanic Gardens have been jointly managed by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community Council and Parks Australia since December 1995. The park and botanic gardens are managed in accordance with the relevant legislation, a plan of management and the decisions of the Board of Management.
The Booderee National Park Plan of Management introduced a zoning scheme in April 2002 to the park. It is designed to provide for the appropriate use of the park, whilst protecting the park's natural and cultural features.
