Introduction
The original name for this handbook was the Tour Operators Workbook. Versions have been around for many years, helping to educate tour guides about the natural and cultural features of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
This current version was developed as an accompaniment for a new online tour guide course provided by Charles Darwin University. With this national accreditation, the vast and detailed knowledge and concepts that tour guides accumulate will be recognised.
The current title was adopted to make the handbook available, not only to tour guides, but to anyone who is interested in learning more about this World Heritage National Park.
