About the Brochure

The current management plan for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park will cease to have effect on 28 June 2007. A new plan is in preparation which will guide the management of the park for a period of seven years.

In March 2006 the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Board of Management and the Director of National Parks invited public comment on how the Park should be managed and a Have Your Say brochure was prepared to assist in this process.

The period for public comment closed on 28 April 2006.

Comments received will be taken into account in preparing a draft management plan.

Once the new plan is drafted, it will be made available for further public comment. A copy of the draft plan will be made accessible from this web page and printed copies will also be made available.
