In the past, as you know, our grandmothers and grandfathers lived here in windbreaks and ate the old bush foods
enjoying seeds from the woollybutt grasses other grains, bush raisins honey ants were dug for as well
They used digging sticks which were carried in thier travels, along with food to feed the hungry children,
this was the life a long time ago and it is in that way, as you know, that we lived and continued to live here.
I grew up as a child like this
