Machinery of Government Changes
On 8 March 2010 the energy efficiency and renewable energy functions of the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts were transferred to the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency - Administrative Arrangements Order .

National Rainwater and Greywater Initiative
The National Rainwater and Greywater Initiative provides rebates of up to $500 for households to install rainwater tanks or greywater systems.
