Have Your Say towards the draft management plan for Kakadu National Park

The new management plan for Kakadu National Park expired on 31 December 2013. A new plan must then be put in place to guide how the park will be managed for the next 10 years.

Kakadu carried out a 'have your say' process in March 2012 seeking public input in the issues that should be addressed by the new plan. Thank you to everyone who submitted comments. The formal 'have your say' process has now closed, but please contact us at KakaduPlan@environment.gov.au if you would like to make further input.

We are now preparing a draft management plan for the park, which is expected to be available for public comment in late 2014.

For more information on the management of Kakadu, please refer to the previous management plan - Kakadu National Park Management Plan 2007-2014.
