About the case study
The primary goal of the North Central region Catchment Management Authority is to ensure the protection and restoration of land and water resources, the sustainable development of natural resourcesbased industries and the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
The aims of the Biodiversity Program, which are subsets of this primary goal are:
- To protect, enhance and re-establish native vegetation
- To manage the Federal Bushcare program at regional level
- To improve the community's ability to manage native vegetation and flora and fauna.
