New programme for environmental and climate science

The National Environmental Research Program and Australian Climate Change Science Programme have been amalgamated into the National Environmental Science Programme.

The new programme will provide greater cohesion between environmental and climate science.

Research currently funded under the National Environmental Research Program and the Australian Climate Change Science Programme will continue through to its scheduled completion in June 2015 and June 2016 respectively.

All comments received have been considered in the development of future research priorities for the National Environmental Science Programme.
