Ngarradj (Swift Creek) monitoring data 2014-2015

The graphs on this web page show the key chemical indicators for the 2014–2015 wet season plus water level of the creek at the compliance point gauging station (JSC). Data from previous wet seasons can be found at Ngarradj grab sample monitoring data 2001 - 2009 and Ngarradj monitoring data 2010-2014.

The Supervising Scientist's interpretation of the data in these charts, along with supporting information, is available at:

Conductivity and Water Level in Ngarradj

The conductivity guideline of 21 μS/cm was determined statistically from historical weekly grab sampling data. This guideline may be exceeded occasionally due to natural events but should not be exceeded due to mining activities.

Turbidity and Water Level in Ngarradj

Trigger values for turbidity within Ngarradj (Swift Creek) were not included within the Water Quality Objectives as determined by the Jabiluka Minesite Technical Committee on 21 September 2001.

Ngarradj continuous turbidity monitoring data from the commencement of the 2014-15 wet season. The gap in the data reflects a period of poor quality data.
