PROGRESS REPORTING
Progress reporting is an essential element of Greenhouse Challenge Plus membership. All members agree in their Greenhouse Challenge Plus Agreement to monitor their emissions and report achievements annually. This action enables participating organisations to monitor and maintain the benefits of the Greenhouse Challenge Plus programme by tracking their greenhouse performance over time.
Requirements for progress reporting
Members are required to provide details of their emissions inventory, a measurement of emissions intensity based on a key performance indicator (KPI), any changes to the organisation’s structure and a public statement (which will be published on the Greenhouse Challenge Plus website) as part of their annual Greenhouse Challenge Plus progress report.
How to report
Members can now enter data, generate and submit reports online using OSCAR, the Online System for Comprehensive Activity Reporting, or using the progress reporting templates provided below.

Energy Audit Tools
The Greenhouse Challenge Plus Energy Audit Tool has been developed to assist non-technical or semi-technical energy managers in small to medium organisations:
- identify actions to improve energy efficiency through the use of a simple but detailed audit checklist; and
- develop plans for implementing energy efficiency actions.
The energy efficiency action plan - can also be utilised in the preparation of or alternatively form part of your organisation’s annual progress report to the Greenhouse Challenge Plus programme - which details abatement actions.
