This study was prepared for the Australian Greenhouse Office by Hugh Outhred and explores the potential impacts of increasing wind energy penetration in the National Electricity Market with particular reference to possible wind industry development scenarios in South Australia. The AGO also worked with the South Australian Electricity Supply Industry Planning Council (ESIPC) on a more detailed report. The ESIPC report analyses the likely technical and market implications of the emerging wind power sector in South Australia.
