About the report
Gadjarrigamarndah Creek (Gadji Creek), in western Arnhem Land, has received groundwater seepage contaminated by spray irrigation of process water from the now decommissioned Nabarlek uranium mine, for a number of years. The aims of the present study were to assess the toxicity of Gadji Creek water in the laboratory, to three local aquatic organisms, and attempt to relate this to measured Al and silica concentrations.
