About the report

Without proper management and design, erosion of above-grade waste rock dumps (WRDs) resulting from surface mining has the potential to cause stream and river pollution through elevation of sediment loads. This paper presents a modelling case study applied to the ERA Ranger Mine in the Northern Territory of Australia.
