About the report
The environmental characteristics of the pools of the Magela Creek in the Dry Season appears to be such that they fall somewhere between the 2 extremes of the Creek in its flowing state, and of its catchment billabongs. This is not surprising with the pools simply representing smaller and ephemeral billabongs; smaller-scale analogies of the more prominent billabongs of this system in both space and time.
