Hydrology and suspended sediment data were collected at three gauging stations within the Ngarradj catchment during the 2003–04 wet season as part of a long-term study of the impact of mining at Jabiluka. The two major aims of this report were to:

assess the applicability of using turbidimeters to monitor suspended sediment concentration within the catchment compared to the more labour intensive technique of conventional water sample collection and processing, and
determine whether earthworks that occurred at Jabiluka during the 2003 dry season had an impact on downstream suspended sediment concentration.
