You may export specimens (non-live) of Australian native plants and animals for both commercial and non-commercial uses.

You may commercially export non-live specimens of Australian native plants and animals if they come from an approved source such as:

You will need an export permit before you can export specimens from these approved sources.

An exception applies for some species - you may export without a permit any specimen that is included on the list of exempt native specimens (LENS) (in the exact form as listed and subject to conditions listed).
