Community information sessions

The Department is undertaking community information sessions across the Murray-Darling Basin. These sessions aim to provide regional communities with an opportunity to better understand the Australian Government's $12.9 billion Water for the Future initiative.

As additional sessions are confirmed, the information on this webpage will be updated.

The format of the sessions will include a general presentation on Water for the Future followed by questions and answers. Then the session will be broken into groups to discuss topics of interest which could include water purchasing, environmental watering and infrastructure upgrades.
