School programs & community involvement

A number of public, private and community based water organisations across Australia provide educational programs and resources for schools. These include:

Schools, teachers and students can also get involved in ongoing community based water activities such as community education campaigns and water quality monitoring of local waterways through local Waterwatch and natural resource management groups.

Education networks dedicated to water and environmental education are available to assist teachers integrate water into their curriculum.
