On 21 September 2015, responsibility for water policy and resources was transferred to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources - Administrative Arrangement Order made on 21 September 2015.
This website will be updated to reflect these changes.
Water is a popular subject in the classroom and as a teacher, much time can be spent looking for the right resources to help students understand different water concepts.
The guided key concept search, groups resources together under a key concept indicating the type of resource you will find. For example, if a search is made under Human water use you could expect to find resources that inform you about how humans use water, how water affects humans and human water consumption.
The 16 key concepts relate to four broad themes managing water, water in the environment, water basics and water issues.
