The Hillston Emergency Town Water Supply Augmentation aims to:

These goals are to be achieved through four project components; drill, develop and commission a new town water supply bore deeper into the Lachlan aquifer and reduce the demand for potable water by subsidising the replacements of shower heads and toilet cisterns and pans.
