About the project

The Loddon Shire Council is the lead Recipient for a consortium of Councils covering the regions of Loddon, Campaspe and Gannawarra.

This project will develop a strategic transition implementation plan in response to community objectives to match land-use to land capability, to achieve positive agricultural and environmental outcomes, to assist agricultural producers and to help communities adapt to reduced water availability. The project will identify landholder land-use and management options for the new dryland to ensure good land-use transition decisions based on quality information and local knowledge.
