About the project

Wentworth Shire Council is the lead recipient for a consortium of Council's covering the regions of Wentworth, Balranald and Hay.

The project will assist three local governments in the western Murray region of NSW to plan for a future with reduced water. This project will include an assessment of the current status of the region, and how it has been shaped by changes in water availability and water policy.
