Total funding: : Total project cost of $3.9 million, with funding of $1.95 million from the Australian Government under the National Water Security Plan for Cities and Towns and the remaining funding provided by the Western Australia Water Corporation.

About the project

The Kalbarri Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade will expand water recycling from the existing Kalbarri Wastewater Treatment Plant. It will deliver recycled water to the community and limit the demand on existing groundwater resources for non-potable uses.
