Goulburn Water Supply Pipeline
Goulburn, New South Wales
Australian Government Funding: $20,000,000
About the project
The project involved the design and construction of a pipeline and pump station from the Wingecarribee Reservoir near Moss Vale in New South Wales to the Goulburn treatment plant. The pipeline is 84 kilometres long and is capable of supplying the Goulburn community with up to 7.5 million litres of water per day.
Project benefits
The project has:
- provided a source of water for Goulburn that has increased the security of Goulburn's water supply during drought periods, and
- provided relief to the residents of Goulburn who were on high level water restrictions for almost three years.
