About the project
This project was completed in mid 2010 and involved the provision of infrastructure to supply recycled water to irrigate the Coolamatong Golf Course in Berridale.
Project benefits
The project has:
- enhanced water quality and improved the ecological integrity of the Snowy River by reducing treated effluent volumes discharged through Wullwye Creek,
- saved potable water which was previously used to irrigate the golf course, and
- provided a beneficial use for nutrients in the treated effluent through irrigation.
