About the project component

Hawkesbury City Council owns and operates two sewage treatment plants in the South Creek sub-catchment, one at McGraths Hill and one at South Windsor. The South Windsor sewage treatment plant has only minimal on-site reuse of treated effluent. Approximately 1400ML per annum of treated effluent is discharged from the South Windsor sewage treatment plant to South Creek, which then flows to the Hawkesbury River at Windsor.
