Water Quality 2010
Woy Woy Peninsula, New South Wales
Australian Government Funding: $4,500,000
About the Project
The Water Quality 2010 initiative has been developed by Gosford City Council to improve the quality of treated water, reduce the occurrence of discoloured water events, and facilitate maintenance and monitoring of the water supply. The plan comprised of capital works, maintenance activities, monitoring and analysis, management, operations and communications. The Australian Government contribution supported the capital works components, ensuring that on completion of the project, the water quality on the Woy Woy peninsula will be on par with that of other Australian cities.
