Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to outline a framework for determining Commonwealth environmental watering actions in the Murray-Darling Basin. The framework will be developed and implemented over the period 2009-2011, prior to the development of the Environmental Watering Plan (EWP) by the Murray Darling Basin Authority, and be adapted in accordance with the EWP once that is available.
