Site Condition Summary
This site was surrounded by agricultural land, with grazing and viticulture on either bank. The riparian zone had been cleared and the original vegetation replaced by exotic species including willow. The river was accessible to cattle.
Water quality variables were within expected ranges.
Biological assessment indicated the macroinvertebrate fauna in edge habitats was slightly poorer than expected (Band B).
