About the report
Supporting document to the Australia-Wide Assessment of River Health - NSW Bioassessment Report
An internal QA/QC program was implemented for the NRHP (National River Health Program) in NSW to ensure that only quality assured data were used in all aspects of model development, model testing and river site assessment. Quality control procedures were undertaken for field measurements, macroinvertebrate identification, data handling and storage and the screening of poor quality environmental and biological data. These were undertaken to ensure an acceptable standard of data quality was achieved throughout the program addressing issues of lineage, positional accuracy, attribute accuracy, logical consistency and completeness. All data collected from reference and test sites throughout the MRHI (Monitoring River Health Program) and the AWARH (Australian Wide Assessment of River Health) phases were included.
