About the report
The aim of this project was to provide information on the changes in wetland distribution and water abundance and the responses of waterbirds to these changes. The project was conducted in response to a need to understand the impact that changes in land and water use has on one or more wetlands and the potential affect on waterbird populations.
Project research involved the use of remotely sensed images to examine variations in wetland availability and the response of waterbirds to these changes at the local, regional and national scales.
