Minister releases ACCC advice on amendments to the water market rules and water charge (termination fees) rules
In September 2009, the former Minister for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Water, Senator the Hon Penny Wong, asked the ACCC to provide advice on amendments to the water market rules and water charge (termination fees) rules to address a small number of technical issues that had arisen in the implementation of the rules.
The ACCC has provided its final advice, including draft amendments to the rules, to the Minister. The advice has been made public while the Minister is considering it.
