The Australian Government produces a web-based Calendar of Events for World Wetlands Day each year. If you have a World Wetlands Day activity that you would like advertised before 2 February, please contact wetlandsmail@environment.gov.au.

| Activities | A chance to see a fleet of tinnies travelling along the length of the Murray River in three one week stages over three years. 2012 sees the event start again at the top of the Murray. |

| Meeting place/venue & time | The event starts at Bringenbrong Bridge on Saturday 25 February, and proceeds along the river over 8 days to the historic port of Echuca. Overnight stops are planned at Tintaldra, Walwa, Lake Hume, Corowa, Yarrawonga, Bearii, Barmah and Echuca-Moama. |
