About the statement

The Partnering for a Sustainable Environment statement communicates the importance of multi-stakeholder partnering in achieving quality, sustained environmental outcomes, and aims to encourage more partnering.

The goals of this statement are to:

  • call on all sectors to participate
  • highlight the shared benefits and value-add of partnering
  • set a vision for growing partnering to achieve greater impact
  • catalyse and enable new partnering arrangements.
