Commercial kangaroo harvest quotas - Tasmania

No Tasmanian wallaby management programs were approved under the Commonwealth (Federal) Wildlife Protection (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1982 from 1986-1997

A trial harvest of 500 of each species was approved under Section 10A of the Act for the period of 1994-95.

In 1998 a management program for Flinders Island was approved and the 1998 and 1999 quotas are for Flinders Island only.
