About the wildlife trade operation

Approval of this wildlife trade operation allows for the commercial harvest and export of fur obtained from skins of Rufous Wallaby Thylogale billardierii from Tasmania by Bush Wizards Pty Ltd, subject to conditions.

The wildlife trade operation was gazetted on 21 April 2015 and is in force from 21 April 2015 until 21 April 2018.
