About the wildlife trade operation

Approval of this wildlife trade operation allows for the harvest and commercial export of products derived from Bennett’s Wallaby (Macropus r. rufogriseus) and Tasmanian Pademelon (Thylogale billardierii) by Lenah Game Meats, subject to conditions. The proposal satisfies the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

The wildlife trade operation was registered on 21 May 2020 and will be in force until 20 May 2023.
