Discontinued export approval - 2012 - South Coast Purse Seine Managed Fishery
In February 2012, the Department of Fisheries Western Australia notified the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities that they would allow the South Coast Purse Seine Managed Fishery export approval to lapse until further notice. Therefore product harvested from the fishery cannot be legally exported after 4 February 2012. The Department of Fisheries Western Australia can reapply for export approval for the South Coast Purse Seine Managed Fishery at any time.
