The Status of Seabirds and Shorebirds at Ashmore Reef, Cartier Island & Browse Island: Final Impact Assessment for the Montara Oil Spill

Monash University, Clayton, Victoria, Australia, 2016

About the report

The scientific monitoring study on seabirds and shorebirds forms part of Study 6: Shoreline Ecological Ground Surveys under the Montara environmental monitoring program. After an initial post-impact field survey, a monitoring program for seabirds, shorebirds and vegetation condition was implemented for Ashmore Reef, Cartier Reef and Browse Island.  Surveys began in 2010 and were conducted twice a year—every April and November—for a period of five years.
