About this document
The process was developed by the Air Project Management Group, established in October 2015 to support the implementation of the Agreement. The Group comprises of representatives from the Commonwealth Department of the Environment and Energy and each state and territory from agencies responsible for air quality issues.
The priority setting process is intended to guide considerations when recommending air quality priorities to Environment Ministers for inclusion on the National Clean Air Agreement’s work plan, in line with the desired outcomes and principles of the Agreement.
