Import of Polynesian Tiger Mosquito (Aedes polynesiensis)

About the application
The Department of the Environment and Energy has received an application and draft assessment report under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) to add Polynesian Tiger Mosquito (Aedes polynesiensis) to the Live Import List for scientific research purposes.
The report has been prepared against the standard terms of reference and assesses the suitability of these species for import into Australia.
How can I get involved
Comments are invited on the draft report. It is available for public comment for approximately 20 business days, closing on Friday 2 March 2017.
