About the wildlife trade operation
Approval of this wildlife trade operation (WTO) allows the commercial export of snake venom, venom derivatives and other products derived from snakes held by Venom Supplies and subject to conditions. The proposal satisfies the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
The small–scale WTO was registered on 26 November 2020 and will be in force from 26 November 2020 to 26 November 2023.
