Description

Mistletoes and Mangroves dominate this book, which has a strong emphasis on tropical and subtropical groups. A number of parasitic families are featured — Santalaceae (Sandalwoods), Loranthaceae and Viscaceae (both known as Mistletoes), Balanophoraceae and Rafflesiaceae. Widespread tropical families such as Corynocarpaceae, Icacinaceae, Cardiopteridaceae and Celastraceae are described as well as more temperate groups like Stackhousiaceae, almost entirely restricted to Australia.

This volume covers 17 families, 67 genera and 225 species.

11 new taxa are described, as well as new combinations and lectotypifications.
