Australia's Ramsar CEPA National Action Plan 2016-2018 has been prepared through consultation with Australian Government departments and agencies, state and territory governments and wetland NGOs. It sets out Australia’s contribution to implementing the Ramsar Convention’s Programme on Communication, Capacity-building, Education, Participation and Awareness (CEPA) for 2016-2024, which was agreed at the 12th Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands in 2015.
